Built for focus, designed for trust.
Nootik does not access or record your microphone, camera, or meeting audio. Instead, it uses the captions (subtitles) generated by Google Meet to create real-time insights. When you join a call, Nootik automatically enables Meet captions to make this possible.
All processing happens locally on your device — in your browser. Nootik does not send transcripts or data to external servers. After each meeting, you can optionally download your transcript to your own computer. Nothing is stored or uploaded by default.
Data such as live captions and attention signals are stored only in memory while a session is active. When the meeting ends or you close the tab, that data is automatically deleted.
Nootik does not use third-party cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising systems. We don’t sell, share, or monetize user data in any form.
Any browser permissions requested by Nootik (for example, access to view captions or show notifications) will always be explicitly listed and explained before you enable them.
If future versions introduce optional cloud-based features (like syncing notes between devices), these will always be opt-in and clearly documented. We’ll continue to make our data flow diagrams and privacy design public.
